TNUSRB SI Recruitment 2023:
The Tamil Nadu Uniformed Staff Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) has released a notification for the recruitment of 621 Police Sub Inspector vacancies. Candidates who fulfill eligibility criteria can apply from 1st June 2023 onwards. The last date of submission of online applications is 30th June 2023.
Vacancy Details:
TNUSRB SI Recruitment 2023 has different vacancies for different posts. The total number of vacancies for Police Sub Inspector (Taluka), Police Sub Inspector (AR), and Police Sub Inspector (TSP) are 366, 145, and 110, respectively.
Age Limit:
The age limit for general candidates is 32 years, while it is 35 years for candidates belonging to BC, BC (Muslim), MBC / DNC. For candidates belonging to SC, SC (Arundhatiyar), ST, and Transgender, the age limit is 27 years.
Pay Scale:
The candidates having Graduates (Technical) qualifications will get ₹ 9000/- per month, and the candidates with Diploma Engineers qualifications will get a pay scale of ₹ 8000/- per month.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants should have a Bachelor Degree in 10+2+3/4/5 pattern or Diploma courses in 10+3+2/3 pattern. If the candidate has obtained a Bachelor’s Degree through Open Universities without following the above procedure, they will not be eligible.
Exam Process:
The exam process for the TNUSRB SI Recruitment 2023 includes a Tamil Eligibility Test, Objective Type (GK, Psychology), Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Endurance Test (ET), Physical Ability Test (PAT), and a Viva Voce.

TN Police Recruitment 2022:
TNUSRB has released a recruitment notification to fill 3552 vacancies in the Tamil Nadu Police Department for the year 2022-23. Online registration for the same will start from 7th July 2022, and the last date for submission of online applications is 15th August 2022.
Vacancy Details:
The vacancies include 2180 Police Constable (District / City Arms), 1091 Police Constable (TN Special Police Force), 161 Jail Warders Grade II and 120 Fireman positions.
Age Limit:
Candidates belonging to the General category must be between 18 to 26 years of age. For BC / BC (M) / MBC / DNC candidates, the age limit is 18 to 28 years, while for SC / SC (A) / ST candidates, it is 18 to 31 years.
Pay Scale:
The pay scale for the selected candidates will range between ₹ 18,200 to 67,100/-.
Qualifications:
The minimum qualification required for the positions is a 10th Class / Matriculation pass or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board.
Selection Process:
The selection process includes a written examination, physical standard test, physical ability test, physical examination, and special marks.
