National Institute of Homeopathy (NIH) Kolkata has invited applications from eligible Indian citizens for various faculty teaching and non-teaching posts on a direct recruitment basis. The online registration for NIH Recruitment 2023 vacancies will begin on May 5, 2023 and will continue till May 25, 2023. NIH Recruitment 2023 Age Limit and Educational Qualifications
The age limit for applying for NIH Recruitment 2023 varies from post to post. The upper age limit for the Professor post is 50 years, for Associate Professor, it should not exceed 45 years and for Assistant Professor, Resident Medical Officer, Medical Officer, and Assistant Research Officer, it should not exceed 35 years. The candidate’s age for the Dietitian and Junior Hindi Translator must not exceed 35 years and 28 years, respectively. The lower division clerk and stenographer should not exceed 28 years, while the employee car driver and radiographer should not exceed 28 years old. The General Work Assistant and MTS candidates should not exceed 28 years of age.
The educational qualifications required for each post in NIH Recruitment 2023 are as follows-
• For Professor- Post Graduate Degree in Homeopathy and a minimum of five years of teaching experience.
• For Associate Professor- Post Graduate Degree in Homeopathy and a minimum of five years of teaching experience.
• For Assistant Professor- Master’s Degree in Homeopathy in a relevant subject and included in the Second Schedule to the Central Council of Homeopathy Act, 1973.
• For Resident Medical Officer/Medical Officer- Post Graduate Degree in Homeopathy recognized under HCC Act, 1973.
• For Assistant Research Officer- Master’s Degree in Homeopathy recognized under HCC Act, 1973, and working knowledge of computer.
• For Dietitian- Degree in Science with a Diploma in Dietetics and 07 years of experience.
• For Junior Hindi Translator- Degree in Hindi/ English with a one-year Diploma in Hindi Translation, and 30 wpm typing speed in Hindi/English.
• For the Lower Division Clerk- Higher/ SSC qualification in Hindi/English with typing speed of 30 wpm.
• For Nursing Officer- B.Sc. Nursing/Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery, or equivalent qualification, and registered Nurse or Nurse and Midwife with State/Nursing Council of India.
• For Stenographer Grade II- Secondary School (Matric with 12th pass) qualification with a qualified speed of 80 WPM in shorthand and 30 WPM speed in typing in English/Hindi and graduation in computer studies.
• For Staff Car Driver- Matriculation with a valid driving license for three-wheelers/four-wheelers (LMV/HMV) passenger vehicles and three years of experience in relevant field after obtaining a license.
• For Radiographer- Degree in Science with a Diploma or Certificate in Radiography and 06 years of relevant experience.
• For General Work Assistant- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized State Board of Education with computer studies and qualifications in writing Hindi/English with a speed of 30 wpm.
• For MTS (Cook)- Minimum 02 years of experience as a Middle Boss + Cook.
• For MTS (Safaiwala)- Educated in the local language.
• For MTS (Sir/Ward Boy)- Matriculation or equivalent course with the ability to read and write English and local language.
• For MTS (Mortuary Attendant)- Matriculation or equivalent course with local language knowledge.
• For MTS (Employee)- Matriculation or equivalent course with knowledge of English, Hindi, and local language.
• For MTS (Fieldman)- Matriculation/10th pass or equivalent.
• For MTS (Lab Assistant)- Matriculation or equivalent course with working knowledge in respective fields.
• For MTS (Pune)- Matriculation or equivalent course with the ability to ride a bicycle and the ability to read and write English and the local language.
NIH Recruitment 2023 Application Fee and Selection Process
The application fee for the NIH Recruitment 2023 is Rs. 1000/- for General/OBC candidates, and there is no fee for SC/ST/PwBD/ESM candidates. The application fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI or Net Banking.
