CNCI Recruitment 2023: Notification for Non-Teaching Staff Posts
Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute (CNCI) in Kolkata has announced recruitment for non-teaching staff positions through an official notification on their website. The institute is seeking online applications from eligible Indian citizens for the positions of Lower Division Clerk (LDC) and Laboratory Technician, with the last date for submission of online applications being 28th May 2023.
Post Details and Number of Vacancies
There are a total of 30 vacancies for the Laboratory Technician position and 10 for the Lower Division Clerk (LDC) position.
Age Limit and Pay Scale
The maximum age for the LDC position is 30 years, while for the Laboratory Technician position, it is 32 years. The pay scale for the LDC position is Pay Matrix Level 12, ranging from ₹ 19900 – 63200/-, and for the Laboratory Technician position, it is Pay Matrix Level 05, ranging from ₹ 29200 – 92300/-.
Eligibility Criteria
For the LDC position, applicants must have matriculation with a 12th pass or equivalent qualification and a typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on a computer. For the Laboratory Technician position, there are two possible eligibility requirements. The first is a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology with 50% marks and 02 years of certified experience post-graduation. The second is a B.Sc. degree in Biochemistry/Chemistry/Botany/Zoology/Microbiology/Biotechnology along with a Diploma in MLT with 02 years of certified experience.
Selection Process and Application Fee
The selection process for these positions will include a written test and an aptitude test. The application fee for general, EWS, and OBC candidates is ₹ 1000/-, while it is ₹ 600/- for SC, ST, and women candidates. There is no fee for PwD candidates.
