T-Series has acquired the world language music rights and Hindi satellite TV rights of Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule for Rs. 60 Crore : Bollywood News

The sequel to the hit Indian film Pushpa: Rising, titled Pushpa 2: Fate, is currently in production. It is expected to be even larger in scale and feature more of Allu Arjun’s charms. Now, music giant T-Series has acquired the world language music rights and Hindi satellite TV rights of the film. According to an industry source, T-Series paid a staggering Rs. 50-60 crore for the acquisition. The source stated that this is not surprising given the success of the first film in multiple languages.

Pushpa: Rising was a box office success and its music was well received by audiences, including viral songs “Sami Sami” and “Srivalli”. Pushpa 2: Fate is expected to continue this trend with even more success. The involvement of T-Series means that they will retain the rights to all the songs, no matter what language they are dubbed in. The official announcement on the acquisition is awaited.

Pushpa 2: Fate will continue the story of the character Pushpa, played by Allu Arjun, and also stars Fahadh Basil and Rashmika Mandhana. Written and directed by Sukumar, the film is produced by Maitri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings. It is set to hit theaters in December 2022.
